TikTok video shows Matt the kangaroo ‘working’ at John Forrest tavern in Perth’s east

Adorable footage has emerged of a kangaroo who has been “employed” by a pub manager on the outskirts of Perth.

The footage, posted to TikTok, shows Matt the roo “working” behind the bar at the John Forrest Tavern, a pub inside the John Forrest National Park in Perth’s east.

The pub locals are often treated to visits by the local wildlife – and they don’t always linger outside the pub.

Matt is a regular visitor, as a series of TikTok videos posted by one of the pub’s employees shows.

TikTok user Katelyn Hutton can be seen chatting to the roo, asking him to pull a beer and berating him for bringing all his girlfriends into the tavern.
