Police charge two men over attempted armed robbery in Kelmscott

Two Gosnells men accused of carrying out a failed armed robbery on a suburban street in Kelmscott have been charged.
It happened about 7.15am on Good Friday at the intersection of Banyard Avenue and Camillo Road.
Police say the men — one allegedly armed with a gun — were travelling in a silver coloured 2005 Ford Falcon sedan when they pulled up in front of a man in his 30s, who was standing at the intersection.
It is alleged one of the men then confronted the victim, threatening him with the gun, before a struggle broke out.
The victim received a cut to his head, before the offenders spotted a patrolling police car and fled.
A 44-year-old man and a 25-year-old man have been charged with attempted aggravated armed robbery. The…
