New details on wanted ‘Swastika man’ accused of racially motivated Gosnells attack
WA Police have released a new image and fresh details of an attack on two women by a man with a swastika painted on his forehead.
On Wednesday police released the first clear image of the man they wish to speak to, in which the swastika on his forehead and his shirt can be clearly seen.
The man is accused of using a deodorant can and lighter to create a makeshift flamethrower in an alleged attempt to set fire to a 40-year-old Indigenous woman as she walked to the IGA in Gosnells with her 15-year-old daughter.
The alleged incident unfolded on Saturday around 6.20pm.
An IGA staff member who knows the mother told PerthNow the woman walked to the grocery store almost every day.
