China goes on offensive over treatment of Uighurs

Australia and New Zealand last month backed sanctions imposed by the United States, Britain, Canada, the European Union on four Chinese officials for human rights abuses in Xinjiang amid growing international concern over Beijing’s treatment of Uighurs.
